Hi Dear,

In our organization (FMCG - MNC), the HR Department is dealing with three sub-functions:

1. HR
2. IR
3. Administration

Each sub-function is led by an Assistant Manager (or Executive) reporting to the HR & IR Manager (Head of HR & IR Department). The HR team consists of 3 to 4 persons, the IR Team consists of 3 to 4 persons, and of course, the Administration team consists of 12 to 16 persons due to the variation of jobs such as housekeeping, telephone exchange, drivers, gate staff, etc.

The general structure of each sub-function is as follows:

1 x Asst. Manager or Executive
1-2 x Officers
2-4 x Supervisors or Assistant Officers

Please ask if you need further help.

Best Regards,

Normally, in American MNCs, the HR structure is as follows:

INDIA
HR Head: Human Resources Team Leader HRTL

MNCs
AM/DM/Mgr-HR: Team Advisor(s) TA (HR Ops, TA, TE, TT, ER)

In most MNCs, there are only two layers.

Thanks,
Ashwani Singhvi
