I am in the process of recommending Rewards & Recognition to HR department for approval. Before I would like to know the kinds of Rewards & Recognition that can be implemented in a BPO kind of environment. I appreciate if I can get some ideas (detailed) about different Rewards & recognition that be followed. Our BPO is a Transactional Services Company (Captive BPO).

You can some Rewards given to the employees like

1.Best Agent / consultant /employee / Star performer of the month / quarter.

2. Best Management - For heads who right hand for management too in all activities.

3. Best Technical Leadership - head of R & D , next level to management who do mostly prg & new projects.

4. Most Efficient Employee - middle level mgt, who does his work without any expectation from mgt.

5. Best Loyality - Who worked lot for co. benefit & growth as a friend.

6. Most Progressive Employee - Newly joined employee

7. Best New Comer - Newly joined employee

8. Best Employee of the department - best in Embedded prg.

9. Extra miler of the team/ department - in respective field

10. High Value Sales - huge order in single ( from one co.)

11. Best Contributor for the team / department

12. Perfect attendance award--whos is not taken leave

13. Best Software Support

14. Best System Support

You can also give them gifts like T-shirt with company logo , Jackets , Momentos , Movie tickets , concert tickets , certificates.

What yardsticks are used while measuring each of the awards. Like when you best employee of the month award, what criteria are used.
When you say Best new Comer, how theya re compared among the new comer and what relation it would have with the exisiting employees. I given my email id and I appreciate if you can interact over email.

Basically we look into KRA of the employee , productivity , attendance , initiatives , Team player . In our company we have monthly previews happening, whr each and every employees are supposed to list out their accomplishments ,goals for the coming month and extra intiatives .Looking at this previews his/her team leader or manager rates them every month like (did not meet expectation, partially met , fully met , Exceeds expectation, Distinguish performance ). For the new comer , how quickly he learns the process and take over the work , understand his KRA ,attendance and some extra responsibility.

Hi All,
I am also working on the R&R program for the my company. My Company is into online marketing business which also has the small BPO and software divison.......kindly suggest accordingly.
Also how can we decide the parameters judge on type of rewards. If some light can also be thrown on the budgeting for R&R.

i will tell u of some awards in the It sector that i know of
1)Project star - Given every quarter , recognition for good work in a particular project....
2)Super Star - It is a yearly assessment and the award is given to ee , who has performed exceedingly well throughout the year.
3)Longetivity Award - For complting 2 years on a single project.
4)Long Service Award -For serving the co for a period of 3/5 years.
