A very masterly worked out sheet. However it takes into account the maximum eligible amount off salary as Rs. 3500.00 maximum eligibility of an employee earning up to Rs. 10000 a month.
These two eligibility amount should be defined separately and the formulae must use those values, so that one can change them as and when there is any change in these limits. We will soon see these limits as Rs. 5000 and 15000 respectively. In that case all the formulae in cells G4 through R4 and G7 through R7 are require to be re-written.

Dear Mr.Ravinder,
I think you are forgot the payable days. Bonus gives in payable days basis.

I agree with Shreedhar Kantharia and tsatchidhanandam. Bonus is payable on the actual days worked and salary/wages paid and not at the monthly rates as worked out in the sheet. The wages on which PF was deducted are the actual wages. This excludes even the leave without pay and absenteeism from the work.
