i want a salary structure for Rs 12,000/- per month. the employee working in BPO/KPO as a HR Assistant. no telephone bill and no petrol or Travell allowance

Basic - 40% on Gross
HRA - 40% for Non Metros and 50% for Metros
Conveyance - 800/- Fixed permonth
Remainig Other Allowance

suhaskhambe's worksheet is a protected simple worksheet and is unnecessarily made complicated by hiding the the cell values. I do not think any great adventure in hiding and protecting such a simple worksheet.

There is no limit to imagination. There are thousands of ways to arrive at Gross 12000. It all depend upon how you follow the rules and what is the policy. It just amaze me when people calculate DA @ 50% of the basic. Is DA a static thing? According to me DA is linked to consumers Price Index and it is very very volatile. How can one fix the %age of DA.
If you cannot do justice with the different components of the Salary, keep it lump-sum 12000.
