ESIC - What is the procedure to add a family member's name to any employee card?

Hello Friends, I have one query about ESIC,i.e Now the Employee received Smart card for ESIC, Can anybody guide me , What is the procedure to add a family member's name to any employee card? Kindly Guide.

Dear Madhura,
After full compuerization of the scheme, Insured Person can add their family members by submitting the required application at the branch office. IP has to attend to Branch Office alongwith the pending family members, there ESIC will capture the particulars and finger prints of such additional family members.
Before computerisation, if u want to add ur family members, u can add the family members in the manual card, which will serve the purpose of getting medical care to the IPs family members.............
For further guidance, please approach the nearest ESI Branch Office.....

if a female employee want to add her husband name in the ESIC smart card but esic members not ready to add her husband name because he has no income source.what is the procedure to add her husband name in the smart card.

Its a funny interpretation.................THE INCOME CONDITION IS ONLY FOR PARENTS ONLY. They are not supposed to ask any details of spouse for adding into the Card........Y you have to approach ESI, by using the ESIC portal itself you can add the family particulars........Only thing u have to do, update the IP details, take revised printout of TIC and advice the employee to attend for Pehchan Camp along with the new family member, whose details are required to add in to the Card......

Can anyone help me to understand whether I can add as a nominee in ESI, my oldage aunt who is dependent upon me. In the ESI form I found the nominee details for "other" does it refers to this? Please let me understand this, as I am confused with that.

Hello, I want to know if anyone can include dependents in ESI in the mid of a financial year. My HR says we cannot include any dependents in middle unless it is a new born baby. Please let me know. Thanks
