ESIC Compliance Gets Online October 18th, 2010 ESIC has embarked upon a major computerization program called “Project Panchdeep.”
Employers will be able to make all statutory compliances/facilities like:
- Online payment of contribution by employers through the portal of the website www.esic.in.
- Online registration of new employers and employees through the portal of the website www.esic.in.
- Family can be treated separately at different locations.
- Insured Persons can migrate without disruption of services.
- All medical records of Insured Persons are available for better diagnosis. Defaulting employers can be identified on a regular basis.
Since all the information is available on a 24x365 basis, the information about contribution and entitlement would be accessible on a real-time basis, and no certificate would be required either by the insured person or by the employer.

Comments: It's a good move towards e-governance. The new website seems to be good, but as checked, it's not still 100% functional right now and may take a few days more.
