A candle - an inspirational story

I liked this story very much. Hope you will also enjoy.

A Candle

One evening a man took a small candle from a box and began to climb a long winding stairway. "Where are we going?" asked the candle. "We're going up higher than a house to show the ships the way to the harbor." "But no ship in the harbor could ever see my light," the candle said. "It is so very small." "If your light is small," the man said "just keep on burning brightly and leave the rest to me." When they reached the top of the long stairs, they came to a large lamp. Then he took the little candle and lit the lamp. Soon the large polished mirrors behind the lamp sent beams of light out across the miles of sea.

We are God's candle. Our job is to keep on shining. The success of our work is in His hands. A tiny candle or match can start a forest fire. The little flame of your good example can actually change the lives of others without you knowing it. Be a light to them like the beacon light in the story which guided the ships to safe harbor.

Can anyone provide me sample in house magazines including various activities, literary contributions from employees and children. How can we make these interesting amongst employees.
Also, could you please provide me ESI PPT in Hindi for presentation to workers and ESI covered staff, just for awareness.

Hi every one,
The story has a very deep meaning.
Simply liking or appreciating the story is not enough. EVERYONE, may be a leader or manager, NEEDS to take a lesson from the story that even the lowest rung employee of your organization has to play a vital role in the development of the organization as well as lending support or supplement to the role of even the top boss.
SO BETTER TRY TO RECOGNIZE THE POTENTIAL OF EACH OF YOUR SUBORDINATE ALSO (which we usually ignore) AND RESPECT HIM AND HIS JOB ALSO FOR THE BETTERMENT OF YOUR OWN ROLE AS WELL AS THE BETTERMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION ON THE WHOLE.

For the giver, it might be small, but for the recipient, it will be big and bright. Whatever you give, provide the help without thinking it is tiny.

Very... difficult to define the meaning. It has so many massages. I have circulated among staff challenging them as who would like to be the little candle of Salahkaar Consultants.
