2. Manpower planning.
3. Recruitment and selection.
4. Payroll and compensation.
5. Induction and training.
6. Performance appraisal.
7. Designing the Salary structure.
8. Studying the Attrition rate and employee retention.
9. HR - Information system.
10. Preparing HR Budget.
11. Periodical review of the employees and implementing strategies leading to Employee satisfaction.

I hope you can help me.

Hi Shobana, I would like to introduce myself as Keshava. I am joining as a Manager HR in a company, so I am attending an interview within this week. Please, can you guide me on what are all the possible interview questions and what activities are involved in day-to-day administration? The main thing I want to know is information about PF & ESI, how to calculate the compensation package, including the salary breakup for, say, Rs. 10,000 per month, and at what percentage the PF, ESI, and Tax are calculated?

Please guide me. Take care, have a good day!

Warm regards, Keshava

Even I have joined a new company. Please plan for the registration of labor, PF, ESI, and PT. Prepare the manpower plan and budget, organize induction and training, and continue with your statutory activities.
