Navigating Shop & Commercial Registration: Do We Need Backdated Forms for Punjab?

rashmi_sbs
Dear All,

My company was established in 2007 in Gurgaon with an employee strength of 15. Now, we are planning to register the company in Punjab under the Shop & Commercial Establishment Act.

Kindly guide me on whether we need to register it backdated and what forms are required for registration.

Regards,
Rashmi

Mandatory Registration Under Punjab Shop & Commercial Establishment Act

It is mandatory to register your company under the Punjab Shop & Commercial Establishment Act if it is not a manufacturing unit. This requirement is also extended to Haryana. You need to register from the date of its inception or from this year if you can show that you have started operations this year only.

You need to register your establishment since the date of its inception as per your records. For that, you need Form F and B for the RC (Registration Certificate) duly signed by your company along with a rubber stamp. Please submit it for the Haryana region at Sec-17, Bays Building 1st Floor, Chandigarh.
