Hi Anitha,

Most companies hardly follow the industrial standards these days as the IT market is very dynamic. However, I believe the following information could be helpful to you to some extent:

2 - 4 Years: 2.5L PA (min) - 4 L PA (max)
4 - 6 Years: 1.25 Lacs per year
6 - 8 Years: 1.50 Lacs per year
8+ Years: 1.75 Lacs per year

There is no specific salary slab for QAs. The above bands will apply to all IT professionals.

I am not so sure if the figures you have mentioned are correct. With experience increasing, it seems that salaries are decreasing.

Here we go. For 4-6 years of experience, it will be 1.25 Lacs per year. This means that for every year, we need to pay 1.25 Lacs, i.e., 4 years x 1.25 = 5 Lacs per annum. Therefore, the salary for a professional with 4 years of experience will be 5 Lacs.
