Good thought...
But i feel in today's world to sustain in the market.. At time's 1 needs to be ready for being over committed towards work... For example the movie 3 IDIOTS speaks a lot about such thing and philosophy of life... But disappointingly in a general trend it really not works on this world... so let us buckle up our shoe and be ready for all the opportunity that seeks our door...
Wish you luck,
Regards.

dear all,
following today's world's policy of 'over commitment' towards the work (so called order of the day!, for the competition, profit & ......), my younger brother passed away last month, at an age of 39 yrs. he suffered a 'brain hemorrhage' while working in the office in the evening. it was purely due to his overcommitemnt to the job, even at the cost of neglecting his health and family.
well, lets understand this clearly that we need to strike a proper balance between commitment to the job (i don't mean to say that we should not be sincere towards the work; the issue here is of OVER COMMOTMENT), and commitment towards our family (which would include our social life, our health and such factors). while over committing ourselves to our jobs we tend to neglect our family, our health and our social responsibilities.
....difficult task in today's 'modern work/life style' ..... but we need to accomplish
thanks for the post, Dilip
best wishes,
arvind
