Annualized Attrition Calculation
Attrition is also calculated on an annualized basis. The formula for this is:
Annualized Attrition = (Total number of attrition in 'x' months / Average number of employees for 'x' months) * (12/'x' months)
For example, until July 31, 2010, you had a total of 60 employees who have attrited, and your average manpower for this period was 1212 employees (financial year considered i.e., April to March period), then your calculation shall be:
(60/1212) * (12/4)
