The abc
hi!
i have taught in a computer institute for half year. after that i did some course for two years . then i again joined a computer institute for teaching. Now i m planning for interviews in IT companies. i have two queries:-
1) i have been getting salary of 12,000 as cash. i have listened that big companies demand last three months salary slips during joining process. but i have been getting salary as cash.what should i do???
2)do companies also demand salary slips for all institutes/ companies for which one has worked... i mean if i join any company will they also demand for salary slips of institute where i worked initially as i m out of contact with that institute.
thanks...

Dear abc
Welcome to CiteHR.com !!!
I have collated all your threads and put them under a proper forum; hope you are able to find the responses.
To answer your queries :
  • yes, salary slips are essential, whether the payment is done in cash or through bank.
  • while joining a new company, they may or may not demand salary slip. If the company has a good compensation scheme and salary policy; they will offer you a salary based on your qualification, experience and expertise and may not require any salary slip from your past employment.
  • when we say if an "employee is on payroll", we mean if the employee is a regular employee of that establishment (and not a temporary or contract employee working there).
Hope you find the above, useful.
Warm regards.
