How Do I Explain Rejection to a Technically Strong Candidate Who Lacks Team Skills?

ashima
Hi all,

I am new to this forum, working as an HR executive in a software company. I sent a regret letter to a candidate whom we interviewed. He was technically very sound, but he was rejected because he wasn't a good team player.

How should I communicate the reason for his rejection to him?

Please let me know.
