Recently I studied a survey stating out of $1300 billion dollar GDP of India (rougly Rs.70 lakhs crores), nearly $300 billion dollar (roughly rs.15 lakh crores) are enjoyed by only 69 indians (7% of the world billionares) against a total population of 120 crores.

This speeh is an eye opener. We might know all of this but it all lies in the sub-conscious mind and we let it be.... Dr Madhusoodanan, by sharing this speech, you must have helped people reflect about themselves either as individuals or as corporate families. If Mr Murthy has taken the time out to lay this down before us, the least we can do is act on our thought process rather than trying to reason out his personal gains. A BIG THANK YOU !

I completely agree with the speech which is the bare thruth of the hypocrisy that we indians are so well off to project amongst ourselves and amonst the world about our culture and values but the fact of matter is that we fail miserably on both counts except for making a show of it but secretly nobody follows............keep posting.........rgrds

Thanks a lot for this eye opening post.... And this is really true that we always so off what we have but never want to carry it through our work for our next generation...... Really when we ll open our mind n eyes n try to admit what we don't have and learn it from others that day we can represent INDIA truly.

Just want say a small line.... We always try to find out the bad side & faults of a successful person instead of seeing his journey towards his Success...... I believe if Today Mr. Narayanmurthy is among those 69 people then it's by his hard work, Intelligence & a open mind who has the ability to dream and make it True.......

The Speech is a pathfinder. It is a strength for all Business Managers and one should take cues from it.

A simply mind-blowing speech. As Indian citizens, are we paying heed or turning a Nelson eye! Kudos to the gentleman.

A very inspiring speech by one of the greatest intellectuals and hero of our country. Hope he is given his due of humiliation (pun intended) by our pompous and foolish political leaders
