Minimum Wage Changes in Gujarat: How Will This Impact Local Workers?

Effective from 01.10.2010 until 31.03.2011, the Minimum Wage will be Rs.6.20 with raises.

This would be very helpful for me, particularly in the Shops and Establishment classes - Class 1A, Class 1B, Class 2, and Class 3. I am interested to know which category corresponds to Class 1, 1B, 2, and 3.

Dear Sivakumar, I had already mentioned the zone in Shops & Establishment with Grade Class 1A, 1B, 2, 3.

Our company is involved in the manufacturing of transformers. All workers are employed under contract labor, including sweepers, skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers. Therefore, we would like to inquire about the current minimum wages for the period from October 10 onwards.
