National Holiday Pay Confusion: Do You Get Paid If You're Absent Before or After?

Please help me with the following confusion: If someone is present either before or after the national holiday but is absent before or after the national holiday, are they entitled to payment for the national festival holiday?

Understanding the Payment of Wages Act

I would like to be educated on the relevant provisions under the Payment of Wages Act that stipulate the eligibility of payment of wages if a workman is absent before or after the Festival Holiday as declared by the organization. Please help me.
