This is a really nice story, and it is heart-touching. I will post it on my office notice board so it can teach the upcoming managers that what they receive is from society, and they have to give back to society.

After reading the article, I am confused about whether Sudha Murthy is great or JRD is great. This article must and should be read by all young lady engineers.

Nice post, Swapna. I had heard parts of this story at various junctures. Thanks for posting the whole story, with the background and what followed as well. It will definitely help if this could be shared in sessions at an appropriate time.

Hi Sapna, I really have no words to thank you for sharing this article. I had just started my work today, and as usual, CiteHR's website appeared in my emails. Generally, I take a quick look and then delete the email to focus on my new and pending responsibilities. However, I felt a weight on my heart and tears in my eyes while reading this article. I don't know why this happened, but it truly enriched me and helped me understand JRD and Mrs. Murti's efforts towards life and success.

Heartfelt thanks to you.

Thank you so much for sharing this. Sudha Murthy was brave enough to stand for what she felt was injustice. The step that she took really changed her life and others too.
