Irrelevant Demand

anil.arora
Hi All,

Today i have received a massage from a member our citeHR club to get him some scan copy of original Degree certificates/mark-sheets of MBA -HR and iv decided to take this as it is indeed a serious issue and wanna discuss this with our all members of this professional cite.

We have our moral and social responsibility to raise this issue so that we can give them a chance to recognize themselves that what they are doing and asking for. I dont understand why he is asking me this as its a ill-legal request by knowing that this is not a right and good request.

Why these peoples dont understand that this is not a genuine demand and why they do that. One must be honest with his/her qualification atleast.

Is it a sensible demand/request. Dont you think we shud do something against this kind of demand/request or can raised it to take serious action. Atleast we can have an option to disclose this kind of issues with all our members so that we all can be aware of this and must not support this.

I have requested our moderators to provide us an option to flag this kind of thread/request/demand which will intimate to all our member in their accounts. (A kind of Flag option).

I want you all to support and let me have your views on it.

Dear Anil,

Please share the details of that member. Such behaviour is completely unacceptable. Thanks for raising this concern. Request you to share the details at the earliest , as we need to take further actions on it.

Dear (Cite Contribution),

Thanks for your response. Actually i already have send my query to you by the (Contact Us) option.

I have sent you the details of the member by the private massage bcz initially i dont wanna disclose the name of this member but want you to take serious action as this can make this place ....you know the bad effects ...

See (Cite Contribution) what i think, we must have an option in our account which will allow us to tag/flag this kind of members and their activities so that we can intimate our all Cite members by their accounts or will send a massage to us in the form of a private massage or whatever, so that we can take action against this ill-legal demand.

One must not support this but as there are numbers of peoples who are already seeking this kind of help from us and have no option to stops this bcz they are communicating to each other by the private massage options and other people cant be aware of that so this is can help us to stop these things

Hope you will consider my suggestion and will do something as an immediate action.

Thanks
Anil Arora

Dear Anil,

We are strictly against such fraudulent, unfair and illegal practices. The concerned member has been banned. We have a system of initially warning the member if reported on such issues and then banning. For an incident like this, it’s no brainer. It’s a clear ban on that member.

Appreciate your effort in raising the alarm. In future, if you come across such incident, request you to report it through the tab given on the page. Thank you for writing to us.

Indeed this a breach. There should not be any such transmission of confidential or personal documents which can be misused unless required for a specific purpose in person

Thanks for your support and immediate action Ms (Cite Contribution). But one thing i wanna know what if i dont wanna discuss this kind of thing and wanna avail this opportunity with interest. In that case no one can caught me, so do you have any option to block this kind of activity.

Second thing, See, I have discussed this with you and you took the action accordingly but how can we intimate and encourage our other members to not to indulge in this kind of activities/issues as we all are here not for just sharing and gaining knowledge but to help the other peoples and let them know how to act professionally and also to encourage them.

Blocking the member is not the solution of this problem. We must do something to encourage the peoples. AM I Right?

We must intimate the other member about it and also as you can observe that since i have posted this thread there are 36 views with just 1 another post except our discussion. So i want you to provide us an option with it we can intimate others..

It is not only these sorts of activities that need to be stamped out immediately and offending members banned.

There is still the ongoing problem here at CiteHR in regard to members illegally posting copyright materials, books etc.

I regularly report illegal postings to the owner and he takes the offending post down, but unfortunately many members have downloaded the material before I can report it.

Many members may think it is ok to steal copyright material but it is not. The longer this activity goes on, copyright owners will eventually take action against CiteHR and you will lose this valuable site.

Is that what you want??

Many of you will probably be tired of seeing my posts in various threads about illegal posting of copyright material but I feel very strongly about it. If any of you were to write a book which had potential to make you a lot of money, would you like to see your fellow members posting that book on Cite for others to download free and deprive you of an income? I don't think so.

By all means campaign about illegal activity and try to stop it, but please include ALL illegal activities, not just one.

Thank you for bringing this very relevant and serious issue to the forefront.
It has legal ramifications and would impact CiteHR negatively, something none of us would like.
The flow of fraudulent degrees , Certificates, Diplomas & Recommendation letters seem to have increased in the past few years.
Perhaps if the personal details/contacts etc of members were not exhibited it would be difficult for unscrupulous 'members' to make such demands/requests?
