Why Is It Tougher for Freshers to Land MNC Jobs Compared to Consultancies?

vvikramkumar
Hi friends, it's really difficult to get a job as a fresher in MNCs compared to consultancies. Would anyone like to comment on this? I need to know. To be frank, doing a live project as per the university's requirement is of no use for someone who truly aims to prove themselves in MNCs. The best example is me. Would anyone like to comment on it?

Regards,

As per my knowledge, very few MNCs hire freshers as trainees because entering management sectors requires a lot of knowledge and experience. Therefore, they give preference only to those with 3+ years of experience.

My friend, you are right. I did my MBA from Pune University, and after completing the course, I realized how difficult it is to get into an MNC as a fresher. Unless it is a very reputed college, you can get through as a management trainee; otherwise, you end up doing a recruiter job in some consultancy, the experience of which is not given much weightage anywhere. Otherwise, you have to be very lucky!
