vishnu@123
Hi Vishnu,

I want to know about the complete payroll process. In payroll, what deductions are made from an employee's salary, such as PF, ESI, etc., and at what percentage? I would like to have detailed information.

Thank you.

I want to know about the complete payroll process. In payroll, we deduct various components from an employee's salary such as PF, ESI, etc., along with the corresponding percentages. I would like to have detailed information on this topic specifically within a construction company setting.

Dear Bhandhavi,

The worksheets for Salary are nice. There is little difficulty in understanding and working with the worksheets. Can you please provide a little write-up to understand the function of each worksheet as well as the usage of the package as a whole on a monthly basis. Please provide instructions on how to generate various reports, such as Salary Register, Salary Slip for individuals, TDS, EPF, ESI, and other returns, etc.

Regards.

Dear Sir,

Can the present private accident and medical insurance be used for ESI? We were a small team and had the option of medical and accident insurance provision from the company. As the team has grown, we now want to enroll in the ESI and PF schemes.

Does the current private medical and accident insurance we have, qualify for the ESI scheme? Kindly provide suggestions on this.

Can anyone help me by suggesting the steps in the implementation criteria of ESI and PF for a private organization?

Yes, ESI provides for all sorts of benefits. It covers the Workmen's Compensation Act, accidents (on and off duty), ailments, serious hospitalizations, all diseases (which are not covered under medical insurance), and moreover, the family members too. The upper wage limit is Rs. 15,000 for coverage under ESI.
