It's not a story, dear. It's a very sensitive issue - the issue of Ayodhya Mandir and Babri Masjid. In simple words, it's a case of Hindu-Muslim riots.

If you have been following the COMPLETE media coverage, everyone in positions of responsibility is trying their BEST to ensure that the RESPONSE TO THE VERDICT is NOT WHAT YOU MENTIONED: "Hindu-Muslim Riots." Please grow up, and if you can't, at least don't add to the already delicate situation from our fraternity of HR professionals.

Frankly, it would have been much better if you had started a thread to elicit ideas/comments/actionable points on How to Contribute to Communal Peace After the Verdict. Sorry for being so blunt—but with the string of fiascos/scandals hitting the country in the past few weeks/months—the latest being the CWG, the minimum we, as professionals, could do is: NOT TO ADD UP TO AN ALREADY WORSENING SITUATION.

I told one of them that at that time, due to some reasons, there were Hindu-Muslim riots. I am not suggesting that it will happen again. I hope you understand now.

Yes, that's what I want to say: just ignore what happened earlier and forget all those horrible memories. To add this question in an HR forum to know your view about this case only, not to hurt someone's feelings.

I suggest a solution to this never-ending political controversy is that all Indians, peace-loving, united, and caring, should come together and tell the court or government to build a hospital or school at the disputed site. In my opinion, I prefer a world-class hospital at the disputed site as our country needs hospitals that fulfill all religious fundamentals by providing care and hope to the ones who are ill.

I hope, I so much hope, the verdict is in favor of the country's citizens and does not repeat any ugly history!

Hi all, I just agree with Mr. Zulfikar's view. In today's situation, what we need is peace. So let the government or the court decide to build a hospital or school in that place, which will be useful for people of all communities. We already have lots of temples and mosques in India, so let's build a school there to provide knowledge to the next generation or a hospital to help cure the suffering people.

I think even Ram and Allah will be happy if we do this instead of building a temple or mosque for them. Please think that we are all Indians instead of thinking Hindu, Muslim, or Christian. Jai Hind.

The common people want to build either a school or a hospital for common use, but our respected politicians are in favor of riots. Need for Discussion on the Forum

Why is there a need to discuss this point on this forum? Is it necessary? What makes it different? The Supreme Court has already stayed the verdict by one week, and let's pray to our almighty that this verdict should never be announced. Let's not talk about the mandir or masjid. I would say seal that place and declare it as a national monument. No Hindu or Muslim should claim any rights to it. I fully agree with the fact that God is one. No doubt we have different cultures, so what? But we are from one country, that is India. I don't understand why people do not understand that their activities are hurting others.

I do not think we ever learn lessons from history or the past. I can quote a number of examples where we ignored the lessons learned and paid heavily. Similarly, in the Ayodhya case, politicians will never allow it to die down. The court's verdict will not solve the problem. Where faith is involved, legality has no meaning. I only pray that good sense prevails.
