Can We Legally Issue Business Cards with Our Company Name to Contract Staff?

We were wanting to issue business cards to our contract staff with the company's name. Ideally, the card should display the employing company's name and address. However, since these contract staff members are responsible for sales, we want to provide them with cards that bear our company's name.

We wanted to understand any legal implications of this. Assume ABC is our company, and the contractors are employed by company EFG. Can we have the business card designed as follows:

Dear [Company Name],

If your company's name is mentioned, it may pose a risk as the contract employee could claim to be your employee. However, you will need to contest this with other evidence.

We understand that the contract employees can misuse the cards. Also, tomorrow clients can come back filing suits for misleading them with business cards like these.

That is why we want to be sure we are not missing anything critical and that we are covering all possible legal bases.

Having said that, we also want to keep the company name and address on the front of the card so that the sales staff are respected for being our company's representatives only.

Can you please advise if, given all the above, the card design that I provided in my post (also given below) will be okay in all respects?

I'm not mentioning the position that the person holds (e.g., Sales Head/Executive) on the card so that it doesn't mislead clients into believing that the person holds the said position in our company (ABC).
