Require Ur Help For Annual Day

Hi all,
I am working in a S/W company and we are planning to organise Annual day of the company in October. We have around 100 employees. We are doing this kind of event first time and hope to continue every year.
We are planning to keep various competitions for employees which will be conducted pre-event and prizes will be given away on the Annual day. we are also planning to felicitate employees who are good performers, who have completed certain number of years with the company etc.
I would appreciate if you all could give me suggestions & guidelines to conduct this type of event. Also if you could guide me on how to create excitement in employees about this event. and suggest me a good name for this event

Hi Mam,
I am not sure bout providing suggestions for the activities/competitions....but i could help you with the arrangement for the annual day function....stage set up, mikes, sound system, lights etc....I know some one who has handled events at a good level in renowned S/W companies. You could provide me your email ID if you need assistance in the same.

You can arrange for different events like a fashion show, talent hunt, face painting competition etc. For all this you would require some time for preparation and need to announce on the programme list for the day.......

You can invite some singers for entertaining to your employees.
You can install some food stalls for providing free foods to your employees. like Fruit Chat, Pani Puri, Ice Creams, Dehi Barrey etc.
You can also invite some comedians for entertaining your employees.
You can give the name of this event as "Employee Day".
