Dear All, The skill of workmen plays a vital role in performing jobs in a safe manner. We are currently in the process of preparing a skill test questionnaire for the contract workers. We will conduct a skill test before hiring any new contract employee, and based on the results of the test, we will assign designations to them.

Request for Guidance on Skill Test Questionnaire

I am requesting all of you to provide your valuable guidance in creating a comprehensive questionnaire. We need to determine the factors that should be included in the questionnaire for the following positions:

1. Fitter
2. Welder/Gas Cutter/Grinder
3. Rigger
4. Helper

Dear Dipil,

If you want to test the skill of a candidate (that you have mentioned), use performance tests. Questionnaires will not help you as they only test knowledge, not skill.
