Confused About PF Contributions? Do All Employees Really Need to Contribute?

Hi, as per my knowledge, for a PF registered company, PF contribution is not compulsory for employees who have a basic pay of more than Rs. 6,500 in the present organization and did not have a PF account in the previous company. Recently, one of my PF consultant friends informed me that we should deduct PF for all employees. Please help me in getting the proper information.

No PF contribution is not compulsory if the basic salary is Rs 6,500. However, you need to fill up the PF forms of all employees who are not covered under PF and keep it with you in need of any auditing done by the government employees.
