Transitioning from Manufacturing to IT: How Do HR Manuals Differ and What Can We Learn?

Hi everyone! I have some ideas about HR manuals, and I was previously in the manufacturing industry. Recently, I switched over to the IT field. Can anyone please provide a model (not an exact copy) of an HR manual used in the IT industry? What are the variances we can implement in the IT field compared to manufacturing industries?

There will be disciplinary procedures if you set it up. The indiscipline could be towards a number of issues ranging from sexual harassment to stealing of data. However, the disciplinary procedures may not be similar to what you have in the manufacturing industry.
