Struggling to Find HR Case Study Topics for My SCDL Project – Any Suggestions?

Hi, I am a student of Scdl in need of help from my experienced friends and guides as I have to submit case studies on HR topics within the next three months. Kindly help. I need your assistance for my case studies. SCDL 2007 PGDBHR. Thank you. Please do reply back. Could anyone please suggest some topics for HR-related case studies? Thank you.

To start with, I suggest that you spend some time and effort articulating the exact and specific help you need. You have posted the above two threads (which I have merged into a single thread); yet I am unable to understand what help you need. Please be specific; whether you need answers/solutions for some case studies, or you want the members to send you case studies in HRM?

In case it is the latter, I suggest you not to expect "spoon-feeding," which would actually hamper your learning; rather, study the available literature, including materials in CiteHR.com, and try to write case studies from your own experience.

Thank you, Mr. Raj. Actually, I am not looking for spoon-feeding. What I want is a sample case study that I can use as a reference or, to be more specific, if you can help me by suggesting some topics on which I can start. I can take help from this forum accordingly.

What is SCDL?

As already suggested by fellow members, first have a look at case studies already posted and discussed on citehr.com. Simply search on citehr.com itself.

There are cases based on many topics and subtopics in HRM to suggest a few: Human Behavior, Psychology, Labor Laws, Group Behavior & Dynamics, Discipline, Leadership, Management-Union Relationship, Union Rivalry, etc.

I read the post seeking a Case Study and refrained from responding. However, even after Raj Kumar's sound advice, Mishi has asked for the same as a guide. Instead of spending time asking for non-specific advice, I suggest that Mishi and other bloggers first search the web, including CiteHr, for posts that are already available. For example, by searching using Google, I found a site with 35 case studies such as "Case Internal and External Sources of Recruitment: The Case of Citigroup" and "CASE STUDY: THE HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTION OF HARRISON BROTHERS CORPORATION." Hence, my humble request to STUDENTS is to try to be lifelong Independent Learners. Have a nice day.
