Priority In HR Activities

Hi guys,
This is saravanan,working as a Hr recruiter in a leading software concern (Employees strength = 200) at chennai.past 3 months i am handling pre- recruitment process. now am very much eager to learn other Hr activities,i informed my wish to M.D,he is asking me, which area i suppose like to learn.. can any one guide me which are all the important key HR activities i have to concentrate much more .. required precise answers .. it ll be greatful,if u all suggest your opinions

Since you are involved in recruitment,there are yet many more areas which you can focus,ie.performance management systems,database management,employee retention activities,counseling,grievance handling, team building exercises,organising events for the employees etc.

I has completed MBA (HR ) full time course in Pondicherry University and theoritically am strong in all HR concepts,Looking for Practical Exposure in KEY hr activities in my concern.Kindly suggest which part of HR activities i have to focus on initially as a beginner..
