Bonus Calculation [Thread 277101]

Hi all,
I am facing a problem in calculating the bonus.. I want to know about the employees who are eligible for receiving the bonus. What is the maximum and minimum value of Basic + DA.
Kindly help me in this regard with an example if possible.

Hi Shweta.
For Bonus calculation Employee has to work minimum 30 days in a year and employee who draws salary upto Rs.10000 is eligible for Bonus. Maximum Bonus is Rs.20% and Minimum Bonus is Rs.8.33%.
But the calculation base is Rs.3500/-
Eqaution: (Basic+DA) * 20% = i.e.Rs.700/-
If employees Basic + DA is Rs.7500, but the computation base will be Rs.3500/-

above calculation is correct, and employees getting upto 10,000/- per month are liable to be paid bonus compulsary

In any year 30 days require for eligible
suppose company is going under loss than after completing five year this is the statuary liability of the company to give the bonus to their employees
Minimum will be 8.33% and max. 20%
