This is a very harsh reality faced by one of my friend, which I am sharing with you. He was working with a FMCG as Sales officer & quit the job because he got a good offer from the competitor in same field.
This fellow took tendered resignation to his present employer & got clearance from previous employer.
On his joining date when he reported to his next employer, they refused him to join without assigning any valid reason.
As far as I know it is not covered under ID Act. The only remedy is under Indian Contract Act.
Now my question is what is the legal remedy available to this fellow & how to proceed.
