Phd After PGDM

Dear All,
I have done PGDM, now i want to do Phd in HR But somebody told , after PGDM you can't go for Phd coz its a Diploma & for doing Phd you need to do any Master Digree Not diploma .Is it true .
Please Guide.

Hi,
Kindly indicate what kind of PGDM you have completed.
If this is after a graduation and is for a period of two full years then usually it will be considered as equivalent to Post Graduation.
If you have completed one year PGDM then it is not considererd as equvivalent to PG.

Firstly I would like to thanks all seniors, that you reply my quarry, Now i wana clarify,
The duration of my PGDM was 2 years (Regular/Full time) & this i have done after
graduation. & it is approved from AICTE .
Now I hope that I will get satisfactory answer from all my seniors.

The few exchanges here indicate the need for us to give complete details about ourselves, the courses we have completed, where and in what mode. Such information will help other bloggers give advice based on informed knowledge, rather than keep asking questions.
For example, whether PhD by distance education may not be allowed in India but I have seen adverts by foreign universities.
