Dear Pooja,
Recently, I saw a policy for women in one of India's corporates regarding an embarrassment policy:
Any female complaining of discrimination or unacceptable behavior against her by any person will trigger an inquiry. This inquiry will be conducted by a special committee designated for this purpose, comprising of HR representatives and members with an equal gender ratio. If the accused is found guilty, it would result in the termination of his/her service in the organization.
Corporates are yet to decide on the work-from-home policy for nursing mothers, which could potentially increase the company's productivity. As someone rightly pointed out, there is a significant loss of talent in this area.
No woman is supposed to work late nights unless necessary or if working in night shifts. In such cases, her manager would be questioned by HR regarding the reasons for her late stay.
Dress Code for Ladies:
Regular Dress Code: Indian Formals or Western Formals
Friday Dress Code: Indian Casuals or Western Casuals with corporate etiquette.
Thank you.
