Dear All, We are streamlining our induction process. Suggestions are welcomed. Advice on the following points:

1. Up to what level is induction compulsory? Is induction required for worker categories?
2. What are the level-wise/designation-wise number of days for inductions?
3. Can we introduce any booklet?

Regards, Manish

Answer to your questions is as below:

Induction Compulsory for All Levels

1. Up to what level is induction compulsory? Is induction required for the worker category?

It depends on your organization, but it is always advisable to have induction for all new entrants into the organization, irrespective of their level.

Duration of Induction Based on Level/Designation

2. How many days are required for inductions based on level/designation?

Again, it depends on the organization and its complexity, but on average, 3 days should be sufficient.

Introducing a Booklet for Induction

3. Can we introduce a booklet?

No one stops you from doing anything you believe will have an impact on the objective. If your organization has technology, you can also conduct online induction.

Hi All,

An induction program is required for all levels, and there are no classifications in it. The very word "induction" indicates that every new joiner wants to know about his/her organization in which one is working and about its hierarchy, policies, etc.
