Seeking Advice: What Courses Can Boost My Job Hunt After an MBA in HR?

writearavind
Hi All,

I have completed my MBA in HR specialization. Could anyone please let me know if there are any courses that would be helpful for job hunting within the MBA (HR) field? If there are any relevant courses, could you also provide information on where to find them?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Aravind. Even I have completed my MBA in HR specialization. I have heard of an ERP course on the HR module. You can go ahead with this course, but my seniors have advised me to get some practical job experience first and then do this course. That's what I have to say. I would be glad if any senior person can add more on this.

Hi,

I have also completed an MBA and a practical course in HR. Friends, it may be better to consider changing your field from HR to another stream because, based on my knowledge, there are very few job openings for HR positions. Let's think practically.

I also majored in ICH, but I now head the HR department. Please advise on professional courses I can take and where they are offered if I do not want to pursue a Master's degree yet in HR specialization.

Why don't you try for certificate courses on HR specializations such as Competency Mapping, HR Audit, PMS, 360 feedback, Psychometric tests, etc., from various institutes like TVRLS or even the IIMs, XLRI's.
