Recent XLRI Grad Seeking HR Generalist or Recruitment Role – Any Advice or Leads?

Hi, I'm a recent graduate from XLRI Jamshedpur. I was placed through campus recruitment in a company in Mumbai and have been working there for the past month and a half. I am not satisfied with my current job content as it is not related to HR. I am currently earning an effective CTC of 6.5 lakhs per annum.

I am interested in working in direct HR generalist roles or specifically in Recruitment specialist positions. I do not have any prior work experience. I am open to roles either outside India or within Mumbai.

If anyone has any suggestions, references, or opportunities, please let me know. Your help and effort would be greatly appreciated.

It's really good that you have graduated from a reputable campus and have a good CTC. As this is just the beginning of your career, I suggest that you continue to grow within the organization you are currently in. After another year or so, you can consider exploring other opportunities. This is just a suggestion, but ultimately, the decision is yours.
