I am working in the manufacturing industry, which is primarily focused on auto ancillaries, specifically rubber hoses. Currently, I am seeking common training topics that can be provided to operators aside from process-specialized subjects. If you have any suggestions for topics that are common in the manufacturing industry, such as kaizen, 5S, functional analysis, etc., please share them with me. I would be grateful for your assistance as I am new to this job.

The best way to make a tailor-made training program is to base it on a task analysis. In task analysis, you have to first write down the job profile of the various categories of persons you are going to train. The second step is to jot down the tasks performed by various categories of persons to be trained. Against each task, you may note down the knowledge, skill, and attitude required to carry out that task. Once that analysis is done, you can derive from it the training needs. Based on the training needs, you can decide the objective. From the objective, you can come to a conclusion about the topic of training.
