Is the 180-Day Maternity Leave Rule Applicable to Private Schools in Maharashtra?

Hi, just wanted to know about the new GR regarding 180 days of maternity leave for aided and non-aided schools in Maharashtra. Is this applicable to me? I'm working in a private government-recognized school in Vasai (W) for the last 10 years. I am being told that the rule does not apply to me. How far is this statement true, and if true, on what basis?
