Hi,
1) Usually after getting the requisite qualifying markes in the NET, you need to have a list of three or four problems on which you would like to conduct research and approach the university of your choice. Also the indivdiual universities make a publication of entry to the PG and PHD courses every year. You need to get this from their press publication or net. Alternately you may get the same from UGC site but the data is very very limited.
2)On applying to PHD, the university will allot the guide and these problems selected need to be finalised with your guide and the topic need to be registered as a PHD topic for study with UGC through your guide and the university.
3) You also need to make a synopsis of the subject to support as to why this study would be required.
4) The PHD sessions usually sart with the academic year of the university and in some universities it is round the year phenomenon for regsitration and for some it last from every June to decemeber.
5) OB again is a broad subject and you need to select a specific problem/ subject in OB. Some example could be like " Cognitive dissonance - a study of labour grievances in engineering industry"OR Impact of family adjustment problems on work place performance - a study of textile workmen".
Hope the information is apt.
Kind regards and all the best wishes for your research.
