Struggling with Attrition Rates? How Do You Accurately Calculate Them?

Please help me with how to calculate attrition. What's the correct method?

Good day!

The attrition rate percentage is calculated as follows:

Attrition rate % = (Number of people who moved out of the organization during the period / Total number of people in the organization during the period) * 100

Dear,

Attrition Rate is calculated as per the below-mentioned formula:

(No. of Employees left till date)
___________________________________________ * 100
(No. of employees on roll on the first day of the Year + no. of Employees Joined till date)

Suppose 121 employees left till date, 400 was the number of employees on the first day of the year, and 1590 employees joined till date, then the attrition rate will be:

121
_________ * 100 = 21.96%
(400 + 1590)
