How to cut a cake (circle round) into 8 equal pieces in only three (3) cuts?

Cut the cake vertically with two cross lines, which gives you four pieces. Then cut it horizontally along its width to get a total of eight pieces with just three cuts. It's as simple as that.

Hi Kiran,

A funny question indeed.

The answer is:

Step 1: Cut it horizontally at the diameter's length.
Step 2: Vertical cut (again at the diameter's length).
By now, you have 4 equal pieces.

Step 3: In an upside-down direction (from the middle) of the cake, cut it into two pieces. You now have 8 equal pieces.

By the way, what was the position you have applied for?
