Curious About ISTD's HR Course? Seeking Insights on Its Career Impact!

Well friends, I was looking for some short-term and distance learning courses in HR. I came across ISTD in Qutub Institutional Area. Can anyone guide me as to what the course is all about and how helpful it is in accelerating one's career? I want to join this course. Kindly reply soon so that I can enroll myself ASAP.

Dear Prachi,

You can certainly do this program along with your job. Some reading would be necessary. That's it. Exams are based on practical case studies and questions. You can clear this exam with flying colors if you have a good practical exposure and knowledge. New fundamentals have to be read as the material is a bit lengthy.

Good morning. It is very heartening to note the explicit way you have explained about the ISTD course to our friend on citeHR. I am an old alumnus of ISTD, having cleared my papers in 2004, but I could only complete my project recently. As you have mentioned that you are pursuing your project, I would like to request you to share the project title you are planning to take up and the organizational background you are presently working in. I have a few wonderful thoughts on projects that I believe you would be able to consider if you haven't already selected your project.

It is great to see ISTD people on CiteHr. I joined ISTD Batch 56 which started in January 2007. Of course, it will be great to share our thoughts on relevant HR topics.

Hi Prachi,

In the ISTD Diploma course, they require a 300-word answer (not exceeding that) in the submission sheets. Do they strictly mean 300 words? If we submit answers that exceed 300 words, will they accept them? Please guide me as you have already clarified this... Thank you.

Hi Krunal,

300 words is the minimum content they expect you to write; you may exceed the same if required, and the content is to the point. Ideally, one side of the A4 size paper should be good enough.
