Can I Legally Receive My Salary Without PF Deductions as a Lecturer?

amitguptainn
Hi,

I am employed as a lecturer in a Dental college, and the appointment letter was issued by a society registered under the Societies Registration Act 21 of 1860. My appointment letter states a consolidated salary. However, at the time of my salary payment, PF is not deducted.

Is it possible for me to receive my salary without PF deduction?

Regards and thanks in advance.

There are organizations that are not registered with the PF trust. However, I think that the moment there are more than a stipulated number of employees in the organization, they should enroll in PF.

If your basic salary plus dearness allowance (D.A.) is more than 6500, then you have crossed the PF slab. In this case, you do not need to deduct PF.
