I am pursuing an MBA in HR through correspondence. I have answered most of the given questions, but there are still a few for which I do not understand what to write and how to write it. I kindly request your assistance in providing guidance on how to answer these questions or directing me to relevant sources of information.

MARKETING:
1. Businesses today face three major challenges and opportunities: Globalization, the effects of advances in technology, and deregulation. Please comment on these.
2. To what extent should the company adapt its products and marketing programs to each foreign country?
3. How can companies enhance both customer and company profitability?

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:
1. What is a social audit, and what are its advantages?
2. Analyze the pros and cons of the Universality concept of Management.
3. Identify the principal factors in implementing a non-financial incentive program in an organization.
4. Explain PERT and CPM Network.
5. Discuss the limitations of appraisal methods.
6. Why do most small companies use functionally organized departments?
7. List and evaluate the external factors that are most critical today.
8. How would you recommend making committees effective?
9. Why do most controls of overall performance tend to be financial? Should they be? What other suggestions would you make?

Actually, I'm doing MBA by correspondence and I'm also working. I cannot spare much time for reading as here in India our employers exploit us so much. I leave for work in the morning at 9 am and return back home around 8 pm.

Still, I'm trying to write answers to many questions by myself. But when I get confused with a few answers, I ask for help.

Amee, I understand your situation and know firsthand how difficult it is to study and maintain a full-time job. However, the fact remains that such study, by necessity, requires a lot of reading and research. One of the things you are being judged on is, in fact, reading widely and synthesizing information.

There are no easy answers, and when you have problems, you should contact your tutor/professor/supervisor and seek further guidance. As for exploitation, well, it is not only in India! Even here in Oz, workers are exploited. Sad fact of life everywhere now, I fear. The harder we work and the longer the hours, the more they expect!
