Hr Interview Question - Hotel Management

Dear Sir,
I am Bachelor’s in Hotel Management with Specialization in Hotel Human Resources as well as Training & Development.
I would like to ask you 1 question which i was asked in an interview for the position of Human Resources Executive in a five star hotel.
The question was:
“There is an employee working in the organization since 25 years, 1 month left to his retirement he brings certificate from the government that he still have 2 years remaining for age bar to work."
As a Human Resource Professional what would be your decision, retirement or expand service period?

Dear Pasupathi,
In the appointment letter, you would have given his date of birth and the retirement age. Kindly go through the same.
