How Does the Rs. 8000 Wage Cap Affect Compensation Under the Employees Compensation Act?

Central Government has specified Rs. 8000/- per month maximum wages to be considered for the purpose of computation of compensation under Employees Compensation Act, 1923 (earlier known as Workmen's Compensation Act).
