Dear all,

I need to know what the 3 ways of communicating are during a presentation. Please help me with this.

1. Verbal
2. Non-verbal
3. ???

While presenting yourself, what is important is your self-confidence. Second, don't get nervous. Third, fluency in language is crucial, and finally, knowledge about the topic. :)

The third language might be your body language - the way you stand, speak, move, listen, and dress.

I am not really sure what particular ways you are talking about. Can you explain as follows:

Three Important Parts of Communication

1. Language - the words that one uses or verbal communication
2. Body language - non-verbal communication
3. Paralinguistics - the way in which you speak, such as tone, expression in voice, voice modulation, etc.

I wonder if you're referring to the model often taught in NLP courses. A 1970 study conducted by Dr. Ray Birdwhistle at the University of Pennsylvania concluded that 93% of our communication transpires non-verbally and unconsciously. 55% of our communication is our physiology or body language, 38% is tonality or how we say our words, and only 7% is the content or words we choose to speak.

Best of luck. (Sorry if this is too late, just seen your post.)

Hi, in my experience, there are only two ways of communicating during a presentation:

1. Verbal, which includes any spoken words, whether face-to-face or over the telephone.
2. Non-verbal, encompassing all other forms of communication, such as written communication, body language, gestures, and facial expressions.
