If Employee Leaves Company Without Notice?

Azfarr
If the employee leaves the company without giving the notice period, can the company claim one month's salary? Is the employee bound to pay it?

Hi,

Yes, if an employee leaves the company without serving the notice period, the employee has to pay one month's salary to the organization.

That's up to what the terms and conditions are for that organization. There are places where you will require to pay for 3 months as well.

As an HR professional, you should ensure the proper handling of an employee who resigns. If an employee leaves without giving any prior notice, once you confirm their departure or absence without notification, you must send a notice to their last known address requesting an explanation. If there is no response by the specified deadline, you should send a second notice via registered post. If there is still no reply, you should send a letter informing them that their name has been removed from the company's records due to the lack of response to previous communication.

Hi, I was working in a private limited company. I was selected and appointed as a cashier on a probationary period for six months but was given the duties of delivery of currency for which I had to roam from here and there with a large amount of currency. I was not even covered under insurance for doing this job. I was not permanent, and I left the job without intimation after the completion of six months. Now, my boss has sent me a registered letter and said that I have to pay one month's salary to them. So please tell me, do I have to "sign" on the registered letter or not? Even they did not mention in the appointment letter that I have to pay one month's salary if I leave the job without intimation. Please reply to my email ID, i.e., mak_0410@yahoo.com.

Hi, I have been working in a limited company for the last 3 months. Now, I am planning to resign without giving any notice period. What can the company do if I do not serve the notice? In my appointment letter, a 45-day notice period is compulsory. Please help me.

Hi, I am Bhupender Sharma. I left the company without notice period because the company did not give me an appointment letter. Now, they are holding my salary. Can I claim my salary from them?
