Navigating HR Laws for Trading Companies: Where Can I Find Reliable Resources?

I need to know what all HR-related laws are applicable to a non-manufacturing company (i.e., a company is in the trading business only). If any standard book, manual, or website can be suggested covering basics of applicable laws.

If you indicate the number of employees, it is easy to provide a list of applicable laws. I presume HR laws mean laws applicable under statutory acts.

Can you please let me know if any of these or any other HR laws are applicable to an IT organization comprising 15 employees?

The statutes applicable for a firm with 20 or more employees will be PF & ESI. However, the other acts, namely the Minimum Wages Act, National and Festival Holidays, are at the discretion of the management.
