Seeking Guidance on Mastering Payroll and Core HR Activities – Any Resources to Share?

pranavihr
Hi all, good morning! I am working as an HR executive in a small IT company for 6 months. However, I am currently only involved in recruitment, as well as handling joining formalities and exit interviews. I am very eager to learn about payroll and all core HR activities such as salary calculations, attendance maintenance, PF calculation, ESI calculation, and gratuity. Can anyone help me learn all core HR activities? If anyone has materials or website addresses, please forward them to me.

Thank you.

Firstly, I would like to tell you that what you are doing in your current job is the beginning of HR work. It seems you are not satisfied with your work. Yes, you are eager to learn more about HR, but you have to wait for your turn. It's very appreciable that you want to learn more because HR has a vast scope, and you must learn to increase your skills. However, you also have to show interest in your present work. It's not true that recruitment and the work you are doing have no scope and will not provide experience and knowledge.

About learning, I would say just stay with us, and we will help you with whatever you need, anytime.

Salary Structure Review

To start off, I am sending you a salary structure for your review. Please go through the format and try to understand the calculations. For information about EPF and ESI, you need to visit their official websites, which I have mentioned below, to understand the rules better.

The most important thing is that you have to wait for your turn. Give yourself some time.

For more HR material, you need to be present and progress step by step.

Thank you.
